2024 was a momentous year for SoulStation Orchestra. We performed for over 100 events. However, we were truly honoured when one of the wedding’s we participated in was featured in British Vogue’s November, December 2024 and January 2025 issues!
Curated and designed by the talented Fino Events, the wedding of Christina and Jason will forever be remembered as an elegant celebration of love!
Head planner from Fino Events, Nicoletta, contacted us approximately two years before the couple’s wedding date, September 1st 2024, to see of our availability as well as what we can offer for the wedding vision.
The couple wanted to celebrate their Italian and Jewish traditions, while seamlessly blending the two through music. As this is our specialty, we were beyond excited to deliver the performance.
To begin, The Strings’ performed for the couple’s wedding ceremony which took place in the Princess Mezzanine at the St. James Theatre. For the bride’s entrance, Rosie performed Elvis’ Can’t Help Falling in Love – it was a truly beautiful moment!
Later, for their exit down the aisle, the couple requested the Italian 1970’s band, Ricchi e Poveri’s Sarà perché ti amo! It was so fun!
For the cocktail hour, which took place in the vault, The Ultra Lounge Duo, made up of Saxophone and Bass, set the perfect jazzy atmoshpere.
When it was time to get the party started, Christina and Jason did not hold back! They celebrated all evening with their guests, and their guests were so excited to eat, dance and celebrate their union.
The showband gave it their all and it was a pleasure to see the party come alive with their performance.
It was an unforgettable event and we had a such a pleasure working with Nicoletta from Fino events and all other vendors involved.
